Dr. Sri Abirami Selvam completed her medical training in India before moving to the United States for further education. She completed her internal medicine residency in Pennsylvania and later moved to Oregon to pursue her nephrology fellowship. Her training across varied clinical environments has given her broad experience and a comprehensive understanding of patient care.

She was drawn to nephrology for its intellectual depth and the opportunity to care for patients across a wide range of settings while building meaningful, long-term relationships. Her clinical interests include hypertension, chronic kidney disease, home dialysis modalities, and preventive care.

Outside of work, Dr. Selvam enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time with her husband and toddler.
