More than 20 million Americans—one in nine adults—have chronic kidney disease, and most don’t know it. Another 20 million are at increased risk for kidney disease. In many cases, early detection and treatment of kidney disease can help to prevent more serious kidney disease and other complications. However, many people are affected by chronic kidney disease and must seek help from a nephrologist.
For the last 50 years we have served kidney patients not only in Eugene and Springfield but Coos Bay, North Bend, Florence, Roseburg and other surrounding areas in western Oregon. Kidney Care of Oregon offers evaluation and treatment in adults with kidney disorders. Our nephrology doctors provide treatment for a wide range of issues including chronic kidney disease, kidney failure, kidney stones, high blood pressure, and can help coordinate kidney transplantation. We also manage dialysis units, providing dialysis treatment for patients in end-stage kidney failure when their kidneys are not functioning properly. These complications are commonly due to diabetes or high blood pressure.
